The purpose of the work is to study the possibilities of controlling the communication between the antenna in the near zone for processing the results of measuring the scattering characteristics of the object of a complex shape and the synthesis of recommended means/methods to reduce the visibility of the object under study. Research methods. The work is devoted to the development of new methods of combining experimental results with the results of numerical modeling of wave scattering on complex objects. This section deals with antenna systems that can be used for experimental measurements of scattering characteristics of complex objects. Numerical modeling of such antenna systems was carried out. The finite difference in time domain (FDTD) method was used for simulation. The use of this method allows you to follow the evolution in time of the electromagnetic field near the emitting and receiving antennas, and also allows you to obtain information about the frequency band in one simulation. Work results Modeling of the pulsed radiation of a dipole antenna at different spatial positions of the receiving antenna relative to the emitting antenna was carried out. The time forms and spectra of the signals that arise in the transmitting and receiving antennas were obtained and analyzed. The distribution of the energy density of the electromagnetic field in the free space near the antennas for different spatial locations of the receiving antenna relative to the emitting antenna was also investigated.
