The purpose of the work is to determine the age of age-old tree botanical monuments of the forest steppe of Ukraine and to determine their viability. Methods — field, dendrochronological, statistical. Historical and memorial trees Quercus robur L., Larix sibirica Ledeb., Larix decidua Mill., Fraxinus excelsior L. and Pinus nigra Arn., Pinus sylvestris L., Picea abies (L.) Karst, Gleditsia triacanthos L., Celtis occidentalis L., Betula pendula Roth., Juglans nigra L. have been identified in the Oleksandria dendrological park of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the sanitary condition of the trees was assessed and the exact cambial age was determined. The age of Q. robur trees called the "Dancing Oaks" plant-architectural complex is 240–242 years. The age of the L. decidua tree in the "Tsarsky garden" area is 182–189 years. The age of L. sibirica (near Dancing Pavilion) is 173 years, L. decidua is 149 years, and P. nigra (Great Lawn) is 177 years old. The age of the P. sylvestris trees on the pine alley is 220–230 years. B. pendula was identified in the "Large Meadow" is 150–160 years old. The age of the P. abies tree in the "Large Meadow" is 127–135 years. The ages of G. triacanthos, C. occidentalis and Juglans nigra (139, 142 and 132 years) indicate that the trees were planted before 1900. The age of Sorbus tormilalis (L.) Crantz trees, planted between 1917 and 1922 along 2 Bankova Street, Kyiv city, was determined.
