The purpose of the research: development of new composite materials based on vanadium dioxide, electrodynamic characteristics of manufactured composite materials based on vanadium dioxide and their ability to control the parameters of microwave radiation. Research methods: classical methods of ultra-high frequency electrodynamics for determining microwave absorption/reflection and dielectric characteristics of materials, differential scanning calorimetry. For the first time, the effectiveness of composite materials based on vanadium dioxide, in which a phase transition is realized, is investigated in terms of changing the transmission, reflection and absorption of microwave radiation in order to control the characteristics of such radiation. Production of elements of ultra-high-frequency devices using developed composite materials will allow to replace amplitude switches, which have large dimensions, weight and cost. The range of potential industrial applications of materials includes devices for wireless microwave communication of promising generations, protective screens of military facilities to reduce radar visibility, etc.  Product Description popup.authors Holenya Іryna О.
