The purpose of the work is to develop and refine synthesis methods, synthesize and identify transition metal complexes and hybrid organic-inorganic compounds. Research methods – elemental analysis, IR, EPR, NMR spectroscopy, X-ray structural and thermogravimetric analyses. Synthesis methods were developed and refined, according to which complexes of transition metals with Schiff bases involving furfural, 5-bromofurfural, 2-pyridinecarbaldehyde and hybrid organoinorganic compounds (polyoxometalates of copper(II) with phosphomolybdate anions and halometalates of zinc or cadmium) were obtained and identified.
