Key words: atmospheric pressure, geographical zoning, exhalation, emanation, volume concentration of radon, radon, tectonic faults, uranium-bearing rocks. The goal of the NDR is to study the possibilities of creating a local map of radon pollution. The object of research is the process of increasing the level of environmental safety of the population. The subject of research is the observation of spatial and temporal variations in the volumetric activity of radon. The principle of operation and use of the AlphaE device for measuring the volume activity of radon is described. An approach to the selection of observation points has been developed to obtain a general picture of radon pollution in the territory of Kamianets-Podilskyi. The results of measuring the volumetric activity of radon along the canyon of the Smotrych River and at drinking water sources located in the studied area were obtained and analyzed. A general map of radon contamination of the studied territory with an indication of potentially dangerous places for permanent residence of people, determined in accordance with the State hygienic regulations, is presented. A comparison of the results of OAR measurement obtained in 2021 and 2022 was carried out. Product Description popup.authors Hubanova Antonina О. Muntian Mykhailo S.
