The subject of the study is the conditions of the occurrence of soils of different origins and ages, their composition, condition, physical and mechanical and filtration properties, hydrochemical and hydrodynamic features of groundwater, and the nature and intensity of anthropogenic load. The purpose of the work is to study the patterns of the spatial distribution of the main risk-forming factors of the geological environment, which determine the suitability of natural conditions for underground construction. It has been established that the main risk-forming factors of underground construction in the central part of Lviv are the structure of the rock massif, the conditions of soil occurrence, their composition, condition and properties and vulnerability to external influences, the depth of underground water, their chemical composition, hydrodynamic features, aggressiveness to building structures, pressure, the relationship between aquifers, the presence of soils with special properties (technogenic, organo-mineral, thixotropic, flowable, etc.), as well as the development of dangerous geological processes. An important role belongs to the nature, structural salinity and intensity of anthropogenic load and their sensitivity to changes in the geological environment during the construction and operation of underground structures. Analysis of the geological structure, composition and properties of rocks, hydrogeological and seismic conditions showed that the central part of the city is characterized by different degrees of favorability, and accordingly, different levels of environmental risk of developing the underground space Product Description popup.authors Voloshyn Petro K.
