The purpose of the work is to carry out calculations and forecast the danger of sudden breakthroughs of methane from the sole 6 of the northern bench of the central slope of the layer l1 of the PE "Centralna" Mine of the SE "Mirnogradvugillya". Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematics. statistics, calculations according to standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining and geological characteristics of working out 6 of the northern lava of the central slope of the layer 11 of the PE "Centralna" Mine of the SE "Mirnogradvugillya" were analyzed. Calculations were carried out on a personal computer using a specially developed program in accordance with the "Instructions on forecasting and prevention of sudden methane breakthroughs from the bottom of mining workings". The "Conclusion on the forecast of the danger of sudden breakthroughs of methane from the sole 6 of the northern bench of the central slope of the layer 11 of the PE "Centralna" Mine of the SE "Mirnogradvugillya" was developed.
