Methods of research work applied in its second stage: the method of pedagogical observation; the method of pedagogical testing, questionnaire formation of thinking culture; methods of comparison, systematization, classification, generalization for the purpose of processing experimental data; methods of mathematical statistics. On the basis of the criteria and indicators of the CT of higher education applicants substantiated at the first and second stages of the research work, a complex of educational and methodological support of the CT was developed and tested, which consists of a methodology for researching the state of formation of CT of applicants and a methodology for the formation of CT in the conditions of a higher education institution in the field of physical culture and sports.
