The necessity of using a transdisciplinary approach as a theoretical and methodological basis in research is substantiated. With the help of the modeling method, the directions of the study of the socio-psychological conditions of increasing the role of the family as a carrier of public opinion regarding the reform of education were determined, such as: psychological well-being of the schoolchild and parental ideas about him, intersubjective interaction and mutual understanding in the system " family-school-child", communications of education stakeholders in the context of educational reform "NUSH" and the relevance and disposition of "sense of involvement" presentations regarding children's education. For the first time, the interpretation of the family as a bearer of public opinion regarding its object – the reform of education, which is presented through expectations, evaluations and attitudes – is substantiated. It is clarified that the stability and balance of public opinion is a dynamic characteristic, based on the interests of usefulness of the participants of the educational process, awareness and sense of involvement, is formed in the context of intentions, goals and important events, develops according to the levels of participation. Its affectivity and reactivity can have both developmental and stagnant effects, as well as intensify "developmental traps" through the circulation of contents, the fallacy of declarative "partnership", mechanisms of engagement, the spiral of silencing and biased optimism.
