The features of structural shifts and imbalances in the financial market are analyzed; the imperatives of the development of the domestic financial market were investigated; an analysis of the activities of financial intermediaries on the financial market was carried out; imbalances and problems in their activities were identified; strategic orientations for improving the mortgage and foreign exchange markets are outlined; the domestic credit market was investigated: asymmetries and imbalances; the problems of the domestic financial market are identified and ways to solve them are proposed.
