The results of the research: Received and summarized scientifically based information on the positive experience and shortcomings of technologies for searching for fresh groundwater on the shelves of seas and oceans that exist in the world, geological-structural and geoecological factors that determine the existence and conditions of submarine discharge of groundwater in the northwestern shelves of the Black Sea. The peculiarities of the formation conditions of the underground flow of the North-Western Black Sea and the zones of its submarine discharge in the coastal zone and on the shelf of the northwestern part of the Black Sea have been revealed.
