The purpose of the work is to determine the features of optimizing the acid-alkaline regime of gray forest soil under the influence of chemical reclamation and crop fertilization, namely: physicochemical, agrochemical properties, the content of exchangeable cations - calcium and magnesium, as well as mobile aluminum. Research methods - field experiment, laboratory, analytical, mathematical-statistical, comparative-calculation. The results of the study are a system of indicators of acid-base and agrochemical properties of gray forest soil depending on long-term anthropogenic loads. In the conditions of the Right Bank Forest Steppe, indicators of acid-base properties were evaluated for the 1st year of application of different doses of meliorants (0.5–1.5 doses according to hydrolytic acidity) ensured the optimization of the main physico-chemical properties of GVC (pHsol 6.4–7.1 ; Ng 0.5–0.8 m-eq/100 g of soil, degree of saturation with bases 87–91%) of gray forest soil. It was determined that the nutrient regime of the gray forest soil is mainly improved due to the use of increased doses of NPK against the background of re-introduced ameliorants - the degree of provision of nitrogen compounds remains very low at 64–78 mg/kg of soil, the provision of mobile phosphorus compounds is high at 168–256 mg /kg of soil, mobile potassium – elevated 78–104 mg/kg of soil. It was determined that the repeated application of ameliorants in the amount of 5.0 and 7.5 t/ha with various organo-mineral fertilizers contributed not only to the conditions of soil humus formation in the arable layer - the total content of humus was 1.74–2.18%, reserves - 52 ,2–65.4 t/ha, respectively, and a higher grain yield of winter wheat of the Kraevyd variety by 22–37% compared to unlimed soil.
