The subject of research is the principles and regularities of the distribution of pollutants, their impact on the environment and humans. The purpose of the work is to develop a model on the basis of a system-structural analysis that makes it possible to mathematically calculate the state of pollution in the city of Zaporozhye, taking into account the anthropogenic load. Research methods – statistical (Pearson correlation analysis), mathematical modeling, methods of air quality assessment based on the air pollution index; microbiological, phytoindication. Theoretical and practical significance. A systematic analysis of existing systems for forecasting atmospheric air pollution was carried out. It has been established that the most common methods of short-term forecasting are based on Gaussian models, which rely more on meteorological conditions. The maximum pollution indicators were observed for formaldehyde, nitrogen oxides, phenol and general dust. The values of the hazard coefficients exceed the permissible level (HQ > 1) for substances: nitrogen oxides, general dust, formaldehyde, phenol, hydrogen chloride, hydrogen sulfide. It was established that in the urbozems of Zaporizhzhia there is a decrease in the number, simplification of the taxonomic structure and species diversity of the microflora, and there is also a trend towards an increase in the general toxicity of the soils.
