The subject of the study is the development of effective approaches to the use of information and analytical support in the process of forming the basis of the territorial development of urban land use. The purpose of the work is to develop an informational and methodical basis for the formation of directions for ensuring the system of territorial development of the use of land in the cities of Ukraine to increase the efficiency of their use in modern conditions of transformation of land relations. Research methods are general scientific and analytical with the use of mathematical modeling and geo-information technologies. In the research work, an analysis of geodetic support of the system of territorial development of land use of Ukraine, land management aspects and principles of introduction of geo-information technologies in determining their current state and monitoring of individual processes was made.
