The main goal is to develop a scientific justification for the methodology for calculating losses caused to the fishery as a result of violating the rules of fishing and protection of aquatic biological resources, taking into account modern biological indicators of the main species of fish and other aquatic biological resources. The research method is the collection and analysis of scientific and technical, legal, legislative and economic indicators of the current state of legal regulation of fisheries. The materials for the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On the approval of the Methodology for calculating losses caused to fishing as a result of violation of the rules of fishing and protection of aquatic biological resources" were substantiated and developed.
