The main results of the work.In the F1 hybrid nursery, an analysis was conducted for economic and valuable traits: the effect of heterosis varied from 3.6% (Sympatik/Rushnychok) to 121.6% (Handy/Blue-Orange) according to the number of pods on the plant; by the number of seeds in a box at the level from 3.6% (Sympatik/Rucheek) to 52.4% (Southern Night/Legur); by the number of seeds per plant from 3.6% (Sympatik/Rucheek) to 171.6% (Handsome/Blue-Orange). According to the results of the selection material study, promising selection samples were selected: 292; 383; 505; 247 and 341, which exceed the standard in terms of seed yield by 210-240 g/m2, and oil content in seeds by 3.5-5%. According to the results of research in the control nursery in 2022, three samples (Vodogray/Sonyachny), (Sympatik/Eureka) and No. 317 exceeded the standard variety Southern Night in terms of straw yield by (0.37, 0.51 and 0.52 t/ ha), according to the yield of Eureka, Simpatik/Sunny and No. 317 seeds (0.7, 0.56 and 0.55 t/ha) and were characterized by the oil content in the seeds - 42.0%, resistance to lodging and Fusarium wilt.In the previous variety test, the seed yield of the standard variety Pivdenna night (1.73 t/ha) was exceeded by four numbers: No. 3 (KR4-20); No. 5 KR1-19; 9 (KR5-19) and No. 10 (Eureka), at the level of 0.28-0.38 t/ha.
