There was a deterioration of of coronary artery disease course, an increase in the number of patients with angina pectoris of more severe Ⅲ and Ⅳ functional class, heart failure of a higher stage. At the end of the 35th year of the post-accident period, there was a significant increase in left ventricle (LV) volumes in EW and control group, the proportion of EW with LV systolic dysfunction increased significantly, with only a trend in control. A decrease in EW with concentric LV hypertrophy by 31.8% (p < 0.01) and an increase with eccentric LV hypertrophy by 30% (p < 0.05) were determined. The occurrence of prognostically dangerous types of arrhythmias was registered in EW by 11.8% more often than in controls (p < 0.05). There was a decrease in most indicators of heart rate variability, an increase in sympathetic control. No correlation was found between the relative length of telomeres and age, radiation dose and indicators of cellular immunity.
