The resulting billets have a density that reaches the maximum possible level. The conditions and regimes of diamond processing have been determined experimentally, which allow to obtain ceramic balls from B4C and Si3N4 with the size, accuracy and surface quality suitable for Ivchenko Machine-Building Bureau "Progress" (Zaporizhzhya). According to ISO 3290-2:2014, the accuracy and roughness characteristics of the polished surface of experimental balls with a diameter of 12.7 mm were determined, then ceramic balls have been transferred to the enterprise for trial operation in hybrid GTE bearings.
