The purpose of the work is to solve the complex problem of technological productivity, functional quality and environmental cleanliness of diamond grinding of difficult materials by developing, researching and offering to the industry innovative waterless processes using solid lubricants. The research methodology is a full-scale laboratory experiment with the implementation of diamond and diamond-spark grinding operations using solid lubricating materials with the establishment of physical process indicators using modern hardware control tools, the analysis of results and the determination of scientific and practical recommendations on the basis of the technology of processing difficult-to-process materials. The main results are a system of technical solutions, a database of experimental data and conclusions regarding the implementation of the use of solid lubricating materials in diamond and diamond-spark grinding of difficult-to-process materials. In the course of the work, analytical, electrophysical, research methods were used. As a result of the research, the main factors of influence of the use of solid lubricants on the process indicators during diamond grinding of hard-to-cut materials were determined.
