Subject of the study: in this study, we evaluated the dynamics of the amount of ODB and their total ODA in the fecal microbiota of rats on the 8 th, 22nd and 70th day after glycerol-induced acute kidney injury (AKI). In addition, we analyzed the relationship between histopathological changes of the kidneys, ODB, total fecal ODA, oxalate concentrations in blood plasma and urine of rats. The amount of ODB (incubated in a highly selective oxalate medium and determined by the culture method), total ODA, and urinary oxalate excretion were studied on the 8 th, 22nd and 70th day after glycerol injection. The purpose of the study: to evaluate the changes of ODB and their total ODA in fecal microbiota in acute kidney injury (AKI) caused by glycerol; to assess the interaction between AKI and ODB-induced renal histological changes, total fecal ODA, plasma and urinary oxalate concentrations in rats; to study the changes in the functional activity of smooth muscles of the uterus (myometrium) of nonpregnant rats by the method of balloonography in AKI; to investigate the contractile reaction of pulmonary arteries in AKI. Research methods: redoxymetric titration with KMnO4; kidney damage was assessed by histopathological examination; concentrations of serum creatinine, plasma oxalic acid, and daily proteinuria were examined after animals were removed from the experiment on day 70 after induction of AKI. After the injection of glycerol on days 8th and 22nd, there was no differences in the amount of ODB, their total ODA in fecal microbiota and oxalate excretion between the experimental and control groups.
