The research aims to study the scientific, journalistic and artistic texts of the 21st century from the point of view of the interaction of general literary and stylistic norms of the modern Ukrainian language, its conceptual-symbolic and socially determined manifestation. Research methods – a method of extrapolation of linguistic phenomena to the spheres of communicative-cognitive, informational-ideological, artistic-aesthetic functions of language related to the national-cultural identity of the individual; the method of historiographical and historiosophical research of the literary language in its functional and stylistic dimension, the method of encyclopaedic study of linguisic stylistic categories. Working on the topic, the authors built a hierarchy of genre-stylistic varieties of the texts of the modern literary language in historical-cultural, conceptual-symbolic, sociolinguistic, linguistic-psychological, as well as lexical-semantic dimensions, offered a linguistic assessment of the statement that the author broadcasts to society, substantiated the integrative-stylistic character creation and reception of modern texts. The authors interpreted the conceptual content of the text categories of informativeness, logic, evaluability, intentionality, and intermediality; specified the communicative-pragmatic and linguistic-cultural meaning of the concepts "elitism", "intellectuality", "precedence", "sacredness", "publicity", "massiveness", outlined the sociocultural, functional and stylistic normativity of evaluative markers in genre-stylistic varieties of modern texts.
