It can also be seen that on a multi-lane road, the speed of movement depends on the intensity of the traffic flow on the extreme right lane. This may be due to the fact that goods vehicles and public transport use this lane. The analysis of the functional state of the driver under different driving conditions established that in the case of driving a route vehicle within the limits of a populated place, its condition largely depends on the working conditions, and overfatigue begins to occur on average at 77% of the permitted driving time (4 hours). The largest number of traffic violators is observed when the duration of the prohibitory signal for pedestrians exceeds 80 sec. This phenomenon occurs for several reasons: due to the long time of waiting for the permission signal, pedestrians make a decision to cross the roadway in risky conditions, because the intersection has a three-phase or four-phase cycle of traffic light regulation. A method of choosing rational modes of traffic light regulation has been developed based on minimizing the number of violations by pedestrians of traffic signal requirements depending on the level of loading of traffic lanes by the traffic flow and managing the queue of vehicles on the approach to the stop line. The formed multinomial logit model of the choice of the mode of transport when performing intercity movements makes it possible, taking into account the attractiveness of the node, to determine the likely number of trips by a certain mode of transport by the users of the studied group. An assessment of the feasibility of introducing special lanes on street crossings was carried out, according to which it was established that they make it possible to reduce the duration of bus traffic by 23-25%, which proves the advantages of the proposed criteria and suitability for application in practice.
