The purpose of the study: adjustment, testing and joint calibration of space project tools Aerosol-UA space mission for the study of aerosols in the Earth's atmosphere, processing and analysis of test and laboratory measurements to determine the parameters of multispectral imaging polarimeter (MSIP). During study, two MSIP channels and the interface of the transmission and processing of data from the MSIP channels for information was developed. Laboratory calibration and full -time measurements were performed with two MSIP channels and one scanning polarimeter (ScanPol) channel. The scanning mirror unit was adjusted. A mathematical model of polarimetric pre –flight ScanPol and MSIP calibration was developed, which demonstrated high quality in experiment with calibration of MSIP 555p nm polarization channel and the possibility of determining the degree and azimuth of linear polarization MSIP with errors less than ~0.6% and ~0.2°. The technique and hardware of photometric calibration of the ScanPol using the sun have been developed. Calibration and field tests of the MSIU 555p channel according to the observations of cloudless sky were performed, which confirmed the normal operation of the device. The concept of modification of the MSIP channels is proposed, which will allow to form a flat field on the sensors and thus to reduce the distribution errors of the sensitivity of these sensors in orbit. In general, the project has developed and created the main units of prototypes of scientific onboard equipment of space experiment on orbital studies of dynamics and microphysical characteristics of aerosol in the Earth's atmosphere Aerosol-UA: multispectral imaging polarimeter MSIP, scanning mirror assembly and polarization analyzer of ScanPol.   Product Description popup.authors Ivanov Yuriy S.
