The purpose of the research is to develop scientific and methodological concepts and practical recommendations for improving the legal support of public administration in the field of economics. The methodological basis of the work was general scientific and special legal methods. In the process of scientific research, the following methods were used: comparison, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, graphic, calculation, monographic, generalization, systematization. Theoretical results – scientific research aimed at substantiating the theoretical basis of legal support and solving current issues of public administration in the field of economics. The practical results of the scientific research work consist in the possibility of using the developed recommendations and proposals for improving the legislation on public administration in the field of economics. Scientific novelty of the research: actual problematic issues of legal support of public administration in the field of economy are identified, legal aspects of state regulation of the economy are highlighted; the constitutional-legal and administrative-legal support in the field of economy is analyzed; the issue of legal regulation of economic relations in the conditions of the reform of the economic sphere of Ukraine is singled out and the issue of legal support for the functioning of the financial system of Ukraine is substantiated. The results of the NDR are used at the West Ukrainian National University in the teaching of disciplines: "Administrative law", "Administrative process", "Constitutional law", "Financial law", "Economic law", "Economic process".
