It has been established that a burdened family history of sudden cardiac death, massive left ventricular hypertrophy ≥3.0 cm, unexplained syncope, reduced left ventricular ejection fraction < 50%, left ventricular apical aneurysm, massive late gadolinium contrast on magnetic resonance imaging - study, unstable ventricular tachycardia are major risk factors for sudden cardiac death. The Ferrazzi operation is an optimal method of surgical intervention that reliably reduces the risk of sudden cardiac death. Surgical treatment of apical left ventricular aneurysm reduces the risks of sudden cardiac death and the need for implantation of a cardiovector defibrillator. Despite the reduction in the risk of sudden cardiac death after surgical treatment, a significant proportion of patients still require primary prevention of sudden cardiac death and implantation of a cardiovector-defibrillator. Patients with a high risk of sudden cardiac death after surgical correction do not have the opportunity to receive treatment by all necessary methods, including implantation of a cardiovector-defibrillator to improve the prognosis, which creates the need to create a state program to provide such patients with implantation of cardiovector-defibrillators.
