This provides some progress in justifying new approaches aimed at reducing DNA damage, and thus in identifying possible therapeutic targets for correction of reproductive disorders in women. Suppression of amphoterin (НМGB1) with the help of ammonium glycyrrhizinate inhibitor was established in mice with experimental endotoxemia. It was shown that the use of ammonium glycyrrhizinate prevents the development of oxidative stress and improves antioxidant protection, which indicates the promise of further research on the use of HMGB1 inhibitors for the treatment of diseases induced by the endotoxin of gram-negative bacteria. Key words: single-strand DNA breaks, oocyte follicular cells, sirtuins, repair, oxidative-nitrosative stress, ammonium glycyrrhizin, liver homogenate, experimental endotoxemia.
