With the use of modern methods developed in scientific schools of Ukrainian and Slovak project executors in the fields of thermomechanics of heterogeneous structures and non-classical theories of continuum mechanics, approaches have been developed to assess the influence of accumulated nano-, micro-, and meso-inhomogeneities on macro-indicators, taking into account size effects, which cannot be to be carried out using averaging methods. An explicit analytical solution is constructed for a two-dimensional heat-conduction problem in hollow cylinders with an arbitrary variation of thermophysical properties versus the wall thickness and thermal loading on the inner and outer surfaces, dependent on the circumferential coordinate. The solution was obtained using the direct integration method in the form of an explicit functional dependence on thermal loading. The developed method for constructing an analytical solution is extended to the case of a multilayered cylinder with the by-the-layer variation of the thermophysical properties along the thickness coordinate. The temperature's dependence on the load's thermal factors is established explicitly using piecewise variable integral kernels. The regularities of the temperature field distribution in non-inertial-inhomogeneous and layered cylinders were investigated.
