Exact analytical solutions of two-dimensional heat conduction problems for a multilayered cylinder, whose thermophysical properties of layers can vary arbitrarily depending on the layer thickness, are constructed. The temperature's dependence on the load's thermal factors is established explicitly using the piecewise integral kernels of the key equations. The regularities of the temperature field distribution in heterogeneous and layered cylinders were investigated. Effective methods of studying the thermal stress state of multilayer solid and hollow cylinders with arbitrary radial heterogeneity of the layers have been developed based on the direct integration of the equation of continuity in deformations. As a result of this approach, the apparatus of generalized differential calculus was avoided, and the solution of problems was reduced to key integral equations of the second kind, the solutions of which were found in the form of explicit dependencies on power and thermal loads. An analysis of the stress-strain state of cylindrical bodies was performed, and the effects of changes in material properties on the surfaces of separation of layers on the distribution of stresses and displacements were investigated.
