The methodological basis of the work is general scientific methods of research and special methods corresponding to research tasks, namely: abstract-logical, structural-logical, systematization, classification and generalization, economic-statistical, mathematical, economic modeling, comparative analysis and graphic method. The methodology and methods of assessing the direct, indirect and full effects of regulatory acts on the economy in terms of the development of generalized approaches and calculation algorithms have been clarified; an assessment of the state of the existing information support (statistical and departmental data) was carried out and proposals for its improvement were developed. An assessment of the direct, indirect and total impacts of specific projects/current regulatory acts on the economy was carried out and bottlenecks were identified. A methodology for assessing the full impact of regulatory acts on socio-economic development has been developed. The criteria for quantitative assessment of the consistency of the economic interests of society and business in the process of making regulatory decisions are substantiated; a set of measures was developed for the practical implementation of the developed methodological approaches to the assessment of regulatory decisions.
