The subject of research is the parameters of the sowing module, proposals for block-modular construction of combined tillage and sowing units and their technical and operational indicators. The purpose of the research is to reduce the material costs of performing soil cultivation operations, fertilizing and sowing seeds, creating competitive means of mechanization of domestic production. Research methods: analytical analog method of creating new and improved machines, which is based on the analysis of the achieved technical level of similar products, systematization and application of scientific and technical information on fundamental technical solutions and structures of tillage, fertilizing and sowing machines, laboratory and laboratory-field studies according to standard methods. Research results: substantiated rational structural scheme, defined parameters and components of the universal sowing module for the assembly of combined tillage, fertilizing and sowing units; the terms of reference and drawings used for the manufacture of a prototype of the universal seeding module MV-5 have been developed; developed, manufactured and tested a combined unit consisting of the sowing module MV-5 and chisel Ch-3 for simultaneous tillage and local fertilization; developed, manufactured and tested a combined unit consisting of the sowing module MV-5 and the tool ASOG-8D for simultaneous strip tillage and local fertilization in two horizons; according to the results of the research and testing carried out, the design documentation for the MV-5 seeding module was adjusted and transferred to the plant for setting the machine into production.
