The subject of the study is the death rate of the ULNA at the Chornobyl NPP in 1986–1987, of the adult population of the RZT of Ukraine, aged from 18 to 60 years on the date of the accident, from the main non-neoplastic diseases, depending on age, sex, time since the date of the accident. The purpose of the stage is to determine, on the basis of descriptive analysis, post-accident changes in the level and structure of mortality at the Chornobyl NPP in 1986–1987, and of the adult population of the RZT of Ukraine from major non-neoplastic diseases, depending on age, sex, and time since the accident. The period of epidemiological research and analysis 1988–2021. Cohort epidemiologic studies of mortality from non-neoplastic diseases were conducted in 1986–1987 (64,762 people) and residents of RZT (174,860 people), aged 18–60 years at the time of the accident at the Chornobyl NPP. The analysis of mortality from non-neoplastic diseases in ULNA was carried out according to 8 classes of diseases, residents of RZT - according to 9 classes of diseases in accordance with ICD-10. The period of observation and analysis 1988–2021. In the post-accident period, 12,664 deaths were detected in ULNA, and 34,037 in residents of RZT. In the structure and levels of mortality from non-neoplastic diseases of ULNA, residents of RZT, diseases of the circulatory system, diseases of the digestive organs, and diseases of the respiratory organs were found.
