The purpose of the research: the reconstruction of the mass media process of the interwar years, the study of the specifics of the formation of the Ukrainian media map of the specified period, compilation of the bibliography and biobibliography of the Ukrainian press, recording and processing of metadata about journalistic systems and environments. Research methods: retrospective, contextual, historical-bibliographic and biographical, structural-functional, analytical, systemic and content analysis methods. The results of the research: the register of press of 1926–1928 was compiled, scientific and bibliographic essays were created on 329 press editions of the publication "Ukrainian press in Ukraine and the world of the 19th and 20th centuries". An electronic database "The names of Ukrainian Journalism" has been created, where 10,478 names have been recorded. 11 publishing originals have been prepared for publication, including two issues of the "Proceedings of the Research Institute of Press Studies", volumes 6 and 7 of K. Kurylyshyn's work "Dilo Magazine: materials for biobibliography", the anthology "Vasyl Stefanyk in the European Press (1899–1916)", collective monograph "Ukrainian journalism: history and modernity", monograph by Oksana Sereda "Captured by art: the Ukrainian art press of Galicia in the interwar twenty years", volumes 6 and 7 of the bibliography "Ukrainian Press in Ukraine and the world of the XIX-XX centuries", scientific journal "Press Studies" (issue 1), "Hidden names: a dictionary of pseudonyms and cryptonyms of Ukrainian authors of the 19th-21st centuries)".
