Komissarenko Institute Of Endocrinology And Metabolism of The National Academy of Medical Science of Ukraine" popup.description2 The object: the cytological characteristics of papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) and its metastases, echographic signs of damage to the cardiovascular system, uterus and mammary glands, the state of the immune and hematopoietic systems of patients with PTC during radioactive iodine (RI) therapy. The purpose: to develop the methods for preoperative diagnosis and prediction of RI-resistance of PTC to select adequate therapy based on cytological, immunocytochemical, computer-morphometric studies of thyroid neoplasm punctates; assessment of hematological and immunological consequences of RI-therapy; determination of therapeutic and preventive measures for the correction of hyperproliferative processes of the reproductive sphere in patients with thyroid cancer, and cardiovascular disorders in patients with diabetes mellitus. Methods - ultrasound, cytological, immunocytochemical, computer-morphometric, immunological, flow cytometry, radionuclide. Results: Cytomorphological features of PTC and their metastases associated with radioiodine resistance were established, the risk of developing hyperproliferative processes of the reproductive sphere in women who underwent treatment for thyroid cancer in long-term follow-up was assessed. The short-term and long-term effects of radioiodine therapy on indicators of innate and adaptive immunity in patients with thyroid cancer were investigated, the main factors determining and modeling the degree of immuno-hematological consequences of radioiodine therapy were established. An increase in the risk of developing hyperproliferative processes of the reproductive sphere was revealed depending on the number of courses, the cumulative dose of radioiodine and suppressive therapy. Relationships between cerebral, cardiac, systemic hemodynamics and heart rate variability in patients with compensated and decompensated T2D and cerebral atherosclerosis of various stages, including those complicated by the development of a stroke, were established  Product Description popup.authors Bozhok Yuri Zamotayeva Galyna Zelinska Hanna Kuchmenko Tetiana Stepura Nataliia Cherska Mariia popup.nrat_date 2023-03-20 Close
