The purpose of the work is to develop a method of computer design of new promising impact-resistant ceramic materials based on refractory compounds and to build algorithms for its implementation. Research methods — computer modeling, electron microscopy, X-ray structural and chemical analysis. The analysis and processing of information about the studied class of materials available in the leading materials science databases was carried out, a starting set was selected objects of research. Fragments of the atomic structure of selected materials were calculated from first principles. The results of the calculations were used to estimate the Vickers hardness of the considered materials. A stable method of calculating fractal and multifractal characteristics as structural factors of composite materials based on their electron microscopic images is proposed. A refined methodology for determining a number of physical and mechanical properties of impact-resistant materials and calculating penetration resistance has been developed.
