The subject of the study is the methods of increasing the immunity due to successive changes in the principle of construction and maintenance of the request signals of secondary surveillance systems. The goal of the project: development and research of methods of improving the immunity of radar systems for the identification of aerial objects based on the "friend or foe" feature. The conceptual and theoretical foundations of the work are based on the methods of statistical radar and of the mass service system theory, probability theory methods for evaluating the effectiveness of developed models. Analytical modeling methods are used for the practical implementation of the developed models. In the course of the research, the scientific and applied task of creating an interference-proof radar system for identifying aerial objects based on the "friend or foe" feature was solved, in which the possibility of unauthorized use of the aircraft receiver by the interested party is excluded, and the possibility of using broadband signals as request signals and response, which leads to an increase in both immunity and security of the systems under consideration. The novelty lies in the continuous transition to fail-safe systems.
