The team of the scientific research topic clarified the methodological and methodical principles of the system of mathematical training of young people in general education and pedagogical institutions of higher education. A structural-functional model of professional competence formation of future mathematics teachers was created and improved, and a methodical system of professional competence formation was developed on its basis; the criteria for determining the levels of professional competence of mathematics teachers have been clarified; the place and role of computer technologies in the process of professional training of mathematics teachers in pedagogical higher education institutions is clarified. The results of the research work are reflected in the scientific publications of the executors of the topic (the total number is 60 (552 p./44,78 p.s.)
