In a model of lower limb ischemic damage it was found that transplants of 3D hydrogel carriers populated by multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells (derived of adipose tissue) contribute to restoring the perfusion level of ischemic muscle tissue in the early periods after transplantation.The study of C60 fullerene effect on the behavioral phenomena of animals with experimental focal ischemia was carried out under conditions of systemic drug administration. The significant neuroprotective effect of C60 fullerene was revealed according to results of open-field and beam-walk tests as well as to analysis of indicators of experimental animals emotional state. Using behavioral testing it was investigated the neuroprotective effect of plant prebiotics, containing Vaccinium vitis-idaéa fiber, as part of diets with low and high fat content on cognitive dysfunction in ApoE-/- knockout mice with genetically determined metabolic syndrome. Neuroprotective potential of verapamil and naproxen, substances affecting the activity of proteosomal/lysosomal complex, was investigated in rotenone model of hemiparkinsonism. Verapamil was revealed to inhibit rotenone-dependent degeneration of neurons in substantia nigra pars compacta and associated changes in the local population of astrocytes.
