The purpose of the work is the study of interlinguistic and intercultural interaction, ways of categorizing the world by means of Romance and Modern Greek languages in linguistic, semiotic, translational, cognitive, professional-applied and social-communicative aspects. The theoretical and methodological basis of the research determines the use of the following methods: traditional general scientific (synthesis, induction, deduction, hypothesis, concretization, generalization, etc.), specifically scientific theoretical (hypothetical, historical, logical), empirical (observation), generalization, description of results, comparison, calculation) and specific, namely linguistic methods, in particular: hypothetical-deductive, discursive, communicative-pragmatic. The application of the descriptive method is reduced to the basic and detailed description of the studied objects. The method of observation consists in the selection of individual features of linguistic categories and is the basis of the analysis of artistic texts and various types of discourse. The use of the hypothetical-deductive method in the analysis of the artistic text made it possible to collect actual language material for research, the use of the communicative-pragmatic method is aimed at studying the communicative features of the artistic text.
