The purpose of the II stage is to substantiate the optimal values of the structural and technological parameters of the three-pipe recuperator to ensure the normative parameters of the microclimate in the production premises and the mixer of the components of the fuel mixture of the power supply system of the diesel engine of the machine-tractor unit. The study of the heat exchange process in the three-pipe recuperator was carried out using the method of mathematical modeling based on the provisions of thermal engineering and aerodynamics. Mathematica software was used to simplify the obtained expressions and mathematical modeling. When developing and substantiating the operating parameters of the fuel mixer, methods of mathematical and simulation modeling were applied using software products Mathsad 14 and SolidWorks. Based on the results of research, a mathematical model of the heat transfer process in a three-pipe recuperator was developed, which allows establishing the temperature distribution of air flows along its length and its thermal power. The optimal values of structural and technological parameters were substantiated and an experimental sample of the heat exchanger was developed. A physical model was created and geometric parameters of the rotor of the fuel mixer were optimized. Based on the obtained research results, a complex of energy-efficient and resource-saving equipment and technologies for feeding agricultural animals was created. The obtained results are aimed at reducing energy consumption for air heating and ensuring regulatory parameters of the microclimate of livestock premises, increasing the energy efficiency of diesel engines of machinery units and can be used in agriculture.
