The purpose of the scientific research work is to increase the durability of slide coulters of planters. In the course of the research work, an analysis of ways to increase the durability of soil-cutting elements of coulters was carried out, experimental studies of the effect of self-sharpening of the reinforced blade of the coulter and its effect on the resource and traction resistance of the coulter were carried out; substantiated conclusions and recommendations regarding the possibility and expediency of introducing slide coulters with welded composite tape at Skrynika S.A. FG. The results obtained during the implementation of the NDR formed the basis of scientific and methodological recommendations for the use of seed drills with slide coulters, which will increase the durability of coulters and save resources. The proposed technical solution regarding the use of the design of slide coulters will improve the quality of the seeding process of grain crops, reduce fuel consumption by reducing the traction resistance of the seeder.
