The scientific novelty of the obtained results is determined by a systematic approach to the study of the place and role of the financial market in the economic development of Ukraine, the methodological justification and the development of the recommendations for instrumental and institutional support the progress of the financial market of Ukraine in the conditions of economic instability. The obtained results are following: 7 PhD dissertations have been defended, 3 monographs and 45 scientific contributions, as well as 8 educational and methodological publications, have been published, and 70 conference proceedings have been abstracted. The new ideas are suggested. They include proposals for increasing the financial literacy of individual investors; changes in training and certification of stock market specialists; increasing the general level of transparency and overcoming information asymmetry, improving state regulation in the sphere of functioning of the financial market in Ukraine.
