The purpose of the work is to analyze the current state of the development of archival affairs and document studies in Ukraine and foreign countries based on information monitoring with the aim of preparing up-to-date scientifically based information aimed at meeting the information needs of employees of archival institutions and the main areas of their activity. Research methods - general scientific research methods: classification; analysis and synthesis; informative; structural and systemic; statistical and analytical, etc. Monitoring and analysis of domestic and foreign information resources on current issues of archival affairs and document studies was carried out. As a result of the implementation of the NDR, the issue of the Bulletin of the Sectoral Center for Scientific and Technical Information on Archival Affairs and Document Studies was prepared, which includes up-to-date abstract, review, bibliographic information related to the problems of archival affairs, archival studies, and document studies in Ukraine and foreign countries. The results of the study will contribute to effective information provision of the main areas of activity of archival institutions of Ukraine, their scientific and methodological work, scientific research in the field of archival science and document science, implementation of their results in practical activities, implementation of state programs in the field of archival affairs and document science. The research materials will be used in the practical, research and methodical work of employees of the archival industry, higher educational institutions, and scientific institutions.
