The purpose of the study is the development of theoretical and methodological principles and practical recommendations regarding the mechanism of formation of the company's financial strategy. Research methods are general scientific and fundamental provisions and principles of modern economic theory, namely: logical generalization and synthesis – to determine the essence of the company's financial strategy and the principles of its formation and development of directions for its improvement; analytical methods – to determine the strategic directions of development of domestic small business enterprises; graphic methods – for visualizing the results of the analysis. The theoretical principles of financial strategy formation in the enterprise management system are analyzed, namely: the economic essence of the enterprise financial strategy and its place in the enterprise strategy system, the principles of enterprise financial strategy formation, and the formation of the financial development strategy in the enterprise management system. Aspects of strategic financial analysis of enterprises are analyzed.
