The purpose of the work – increasing the efficiency of the operational work of the units of State Emergency Service during the liquidation of the consequences of an emergency involving dangerous chemicals by creating an application for Android-based devices. In this research and design work, the actual scientific and technical task of developing an Android application for emergency assessment of the situation in the event of accidents at chemically hazardous facilities and transport was solved. The results obtained in the research and development work: 1. An analysis of existing solutions regarding systems for predicting the consequences of spills (releases) of hazardous chemicals during accidents at industrial facilities and transport was carried out. An analysis of existing methods for calculating the scale of chemical accidents on land, in the air, and on water was carried out. An analysis of the existing software complexes for calculating the scale of chemical accidents was carried out. An analysis of the tactics of liquidation of accidents involving the leakage (emission) of dangerous chemical substances by the emergency and rescue units of the world was carried out. 2. An Android application, which is able to perform operational forecasting of the consequences of accidents at chemically hazardous objects and transport with the possibility of visualizing the forecasting results with a specific reference to the area was developed. 3. The Android application has a positive effect on the quality indicators of intelligence in the event of emergency situations related to the circulation of dangerous substances and provides informational support .
