Programming is considered in the context of modernizing its understanding as an activity conditioned by program likeness, and subject-oriented complementarity of its active and passive forms. The objectification of active-passive complementarity is the main prerequisite for the real modernization of the understanding of programming as a reflexive-transitive closure of the subject-generated program likeness. The tool of logical-mathematical specifications of semantic-syntactic aspects of programming is tested on examples, and the general features of the application of the technological programming environment to the generation of subject-oriented technological programming systems and their use are demonstrated. It is shown that the use of productive reduction programming has a key role in the technology of programming. Using the latter allows you to reduce the complexity of the software product development process and increase the programmer's productivity. In addition, reductive programming can be used to optimize code and improve its readability, which is an example of technological programming and improving the quality of a software product. A new paradigm of programming is proposed, which involves the active participation of the subject of programming, which considers programming as an activity defined by a program. The semantics of the software product and its syntactic notation are determined by the concept of reduction and the programming language chosen by the programming subject. Thus, the activation of the role of the programming subject improves the development process and the quality of the software product. It is shown that programming concepts can be used as semantic templates in a program chain to build certain classes of programs.
