Research methods – abstract and structural-logical methods; semantic, morphological content analysis; methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison, multidimensional factor analysis and expert methods of analysis of internal and external environments of business entities. A system of conceptual provisions for ensuring the sustainability of the organizational development of large-scale economic and production systems (BEVS) has been formed, which is focused on the implementation of the author's system of hypotheses that allow ensuring the sustainability of the organizational development of the BEVS. The specifics of the use of creative thinking methods at industrial enterprises and management decision-making methods are determined, as a result of the creative mental activity of the management subject, related to the identification of the problem, analysis and assessment of the situation, forecasting of development trends and the choice of behavioral alternatives and action programs.A study of the use of innovations in the activities of Ukrainian enterprises and the innovative development of Ukraine at the current stage was carried out. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in expanding the functionality of scientific and methodical approaches to monitoring, diagnosing the condition and managing the development of enterprises of the industrial complex of Ukraine, taking into account the influence of the variabilityof external environmental factors.
