To confirm the results of the analysis, the method of atomic emission spectroscopy with inductively coupled plasma, sieve analysis was used. The obtained results regarding the organoleptic properties, migration of heavy metals and radioactive properties of fine-dispersed waste from the stone processing of hard rocks of domestic natural stone are published for the first time. The results can be extended to other types of natural stone from deposits that have similar geological and physicochemical properties of the mineral. Research has revealed that finely dispersed stone processing waste does not have pronounced negative organoleptic indicators, is a sufficiently inert substance, does not emit heavy metals or harmful substances, and has an acceptable radiation background. In general, this waste is classified as safe industrial waste. The results obtained in the course of the research will make it possible to substantiate measures for the disposal of this type of waste for enterprises of the stone-working industry of the Korostyshiv territorial community. The obtained results can be used by any enterprises engaged in the processing of natural facing stone from deposits in the north of Zhytomyr Region and having a typical technological scheme of stone processing. The results of the work prove that fine-dispersed stone processing waste does not pose a particular threat to the environment, is not a source of pollutants or radioactive background, and the simplest measures and typical structures for arranging a storage or warehouse can be used for their storage. Thus, this work is the basis for the development of storage projects for this type of waste. Also, it is the basis for further scientific research aimed at finding rational ways of using or processing finely dispersed stone processing waste.
