The subject of the research is the psychological and pedagogical conditions for improving professional training, methods and technological support of the professional and pedagogical training of students of the 1st to 4th courses. The purpose of the research is to experimentally determine the effectiveness of the system of professional training of future trainers-teachers of physical education. Novelty: An analysis of the formation of pedagogical skills was carried out based on the self-assessment data of students of the specialty 017 "Physical culture and sport", internal changes in the perception of future professional activity among students of the 1st - 4th courses were revealed. During the second stage of the work, the concept of professional training of future physical education specialists was defined and clarified; on the basis of the identified external and internal factors affecting the professional development of the individual. Effectiveness: The directions for improving the training methods of future trainers-teachers of physical culture and sports, the development of technologies for the study of professional disciplines and scientific and methodological support that meet the standard of higher education in the specialty 017 "Physical culture and sports" for the first (bachelor) level, are shown the implementation of methodological approaches, didactic principles, contributes to the optimization of the educational environment.
