The purpose of the work is to carry out an examination of the materials, to assess the expediency of the application of pre-moistening of coal in the massif in the mining-geological and mining technical conditions of the Dobropillyavugillya-vydobutok SE. Research methods – generalization and analysis of the results of water injection into analog lavas, methods of mathematics. statistics, calculations according to standard methods. As a result of the research, an analysis of the mining technical conditions of coal seam ℓ1 in the 3rd northern bench of the southern slope of the "Almazna" mine and coal seam ℓ2' in the 3rd southern bench of the "Dobropilska" mine was performed. The analysis of the results of experimental injections and measurements of air dustiness during coal mining in analog lavas without the use of pre-moistening was performed. The "Conclusion on the expediency of applying pre-moistening of the coal seam ℓ1 in the 3rd northern bench of the Almazna mine" and the "Conclusion on the expediency of applying the pre-moistening of the coal seam ℓ2′ 3 in the southern bench of the "Dobropilska" mine were developed.
