In such systems, there is a bidirectional information flow, which is necessary for the formation of interaction. Thus, LES with Smart monitoring have distributed information systems, combined with nodes of production, transmission, distribution and consumption of electricity. And they differ from classic monitoring systems with an all-level connection not only in terms of technical parameters, but also in terms of economics. The work defines the main tasks and features of monitoring of LES with alternative energy sources and an extended classification of the components of Smart-monitoring according to functional characteristics, with a division into types, basic and system procedures, operations of the monitoring system with a definition of their relationship. A number of scientific provisions have been developed, which are the basis for the implementation of an expanded system of complex Smart-monitoring procedures, diagnostic support for electrical equipment, and the solution of monitoring tasks of pattern recognition in LES with alternative energy sources. A new system of principles and procedures has been formulated and substantiated, which are the basis for the construction of Smart-monitoring systems, the implementation of which is carried out in accordance with the above-considered requirements for monitoring systems with the application of modern international standards and the domestic regulatory legal framework, which will ensure the necessary level of their technical and metrological perfection.
